We grew up in the same area, he's got a few years on me but I remember going to a free concert, seeing him, The Siegal Schwall band, Butterfield Blues band & Mike Bloomfield in 1969 or 70. Some things from that era are a little fuzzy. ;)
This guy is still at it & living near the Blue Ridge mountians in Va.
Wish he would play around here, like to see him as he plays mostly acoustic now.

Wow, "The Siegal Schwall Band," I haven't heard of them in a long time. I'm thinking they were from Chicago? They definitely played there a lot when I lived there, (around 600 years ago.)

"Corky" Seigal wasn't it?

Standing, Yep Corky Siegal, they are still out there doing it too.
Corky preforms himself solo & they still do the whole band thing. Somewhere in the Chicago area, I'm on his email list, they just played a couple hundred miles from here a couple weeks ago but I'm holding out for one closer I hope.

Thanks Birddog, I'll check it out… They were pretty popular in Chicago at one time, they played all over the place. I don't think they ever got the national attention they deserved. I'd forgotten about them, thanks for bringing back that memory…

…now, do you know where I put my car keys? ;-)
