The number of cables to choose from is astronomical, and so are some of the prices. Which ones are worth the money and which aren't?

I'm in need of one or two cables that are about 12 feet long. This cable will see use for the Ovation, a violin, a mandolin, and an electric guitar.

The Monster Rock 20 footer has been just fine for me and I'm thinking of getting a 12 footer for $39. They offer an acoustic cable that costs twice as much. Does it really make a difference in sound to get the acoustic cable?

What about other brands such as Elixir or Mogami?

Get one that comes with a lifetime guarantee and you should be all set.

I think Al sells a couple different ones.
