Well looky there. I just love this board, so much info & so much to learn. Maybe someone replaced the fingerboard with one from an electric that they cut down a bit?

...or were instances like the one shown on the previous page the motivation for opening up plants off-shore to 'rip themselves off'?

I contacted Ovation a number of years ago and sent them pictures ,they sort of said it was from there 3rd series thats why it has the number 3 on the head stock ,I still dont no though not sure ,They informed me that it could have been a special order in the 70,s as they made custom ovations for any one,s need,s ,the dot inlays have very weird colors ,red blue green & rose all colors ,the head stock is round at the end same as my other 3 ovations the end is not square .like i said it has not been tamperd with or modified in any way
