... for not posting my response much earlier.

This is what I unveiled upon opening Mike's well packed carton:

Each item in the case is treasured! Mike, a heart felt thanx for the extra 'thoughts'. I now have an 'O'Zilla NW gathering trophy!

BTW, I forgot how heavy those solid bodied basses can be. Reminds me of the ol' Hallicrafter's radios, "Weight is our most important product".

Again, thanx Mike!

Come on Serge... you know I'm not even a git player! Since I'm a thumb strummer, I'm hoping that I can at least learn and hold a rudimentary three chord bass line...

And I'm with Beggin. Really looking forward to hearing Johnny thumpin' (thumbin'?) that sweetheart at the next jam!

Jerome,
As far as we know, only one PF-22 with TWO pickups. The rest (about 10 or so) were just the single pickup (the big square one).

Since we have a bass now (and a banjo  ) I'm bringing a full set of drums to the next one.

Thanks Miles.
If I'm right, a PF-22 6 string is in France since one year but not in my home...

At one time I was thinking about trying to make it to the next GatorBowl. Now you have given me 3 reasons not to attend! (well....really only 2 cause the bass is cool!)

Iffy - You are welcome.

You are also a Procrastinator 1st Class

Yes, that is a chunk of lumber, and a damn rare one at that.
Enjoy!

In case there is any confusion:

Alpep and Miles are on the Left and Hall and Oates are on the right.

And here I thought it was a 'before' and 'after' comparison.
