First off, thank you all for the warm welcome I received yesterday. I'm still quite excited about my new (old) Ovation. I have to admit, I never paid much attention to them until about 2 years ago when my girlfriend and I were having dinner at her friend's house. The husband had one of these sitting in the corner of the living room... I had never seen a 12-fret slothead Ovation before, and after playing his for a few minutes I was quite smitten by the tone and playabiltiy. I've had an eye out for one ever since, and yesterday I finally stumbled onto this one.

Nothing fancy, in fact I'd say it's rather understated in it's appearance. But it plays and sounds wonderful. I'm very happy with it!

WOW! Absolutely gorgeous. If it sounds and plays half as good as it looks - and knowing these I'm sure it does - you stumbled on one very sweet guitar.

Are you kidding? That slothead tells all! It just hollers 'major mojo'. Super nice!

That's a great find. 12 fret slothead Ovations are great guitars.

Mine will be one of the last to leave. I smile whenever I grab it. I like the darker grain down the middle of yours.
