Both acoustic and electric sides of his talent are refreshingly different and tasty. You can check out You Tube for his many different styles, originals, and covers. The song Gravity is probably my favorite since I love a great Strat blues sound...here is a link to his latest version from the Where the Light Is concert/DVD performance...the Crossroads performance from '07 is equal to this one IMHO...enjoy! The breath of fresh air for me in the current crop of young songsmiths is John Ondrasik (the Five for Fighting guy). Now that's good stuff. However, if I ever come face to face with that kid who sings, "Hey There Delilah" I don't know what I'll do but it won't be asking for an autograph. God, how I hate that song!

I also agree that his vocals can be a bit strange sometimes but I like Rush, Dylan, and Neil Young so I guess I must like "different" vocals. ; )

He really has a ton of talent on guitar, although I don't like his voice. He enjoys being different and I like that. A young, white, blues, guy. Unique. Losov, that's me on Hey There Delilah. We'll have to meet up and I'll show you how to play it before you strangle me.

However, I saw him live last summer, and I was transformed into a fan. He is a great live act, he plays beautiful, complex solos that rival just about any (living) rock guitarist. IMHO, with each successive CD, his vocals have improved, too. My advice; don't write him off until you can see him live, he puts on an impressive show.

Like others have said, I don't particularly like his mush mouth style, old ears don't hear as well anymore. But I still like his music. Last week I bought his double CD that has acoustic, trio, and band. Being a blues fan I like some of his bluesy stuff and then the acoustic "Neon." He can really play and in several different styles.
