So I figgered that I would share the boredom/stress/longing with y'all. I will try to wait til four-ish (PST) before I even think about cracking the case to check. I would really suck if I damaged it just cuz I am an antsy ADHD type of person... But this is killing me... [Dude! It's not like you don't have fifteen other guitars to play with! ]

After a warm up period, I even asked my daughter to inspect it for damage, so I wouldn't be bummed if I opened it Christmas morning and saw the headstock broken off. I probably would have held out, except she came back and asked if it was supposed to have that big stripe down the middle. Then I peeked. It was just the center panel on the 3 part top.

Then I had to play all three Neil Young songs that I know. Then I had to side-by-side it with the 1627GC. Then I had to take pics.... Which are Here... And Here! It has some pick-tracks cuz it was a demo before 'customlegend' got it, so I don't have to worry about scratching it. :p (I couldn't get the images to transfer over from the Ning site... Anybody else have that problem?)

Also, you cannot see the 'cords' in the fiberglass bowl of the 1111 like I can in my older guitars. And the 1111 feels really Light! (weight-wise) I sounds quite full. You can just hear that sound waves bouncing around in there. So, Yeah! It's a pretty nice guitar. :D :p [Oh! For anybody who has never used Kluson tuning knobbies, they're teeny!]

Don't want nasty 'belly-prints' on it, y'know? [get that image stuck in your mind! ]

Shiny Bowls are awesome!... looks like a very nice three-planker.. now play the heck out of it and get those boards loosened up. Glenn
