Now if you wander into the jazz realm you get some truly phenomenal voice players. I'll just start with Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan. Dang, those women could do it.

I grew up loving rock and it's "vocal Intruments" but the one voice that always Amazed me as an "Instrument" was Patsy Cline, smooth as silk.

I admire many great singers and have no one favorite.

However, many years ago I taught myself to be a better singer by listening to Gordon Lightfoot and Johnny Mathis.
