Maybe while I'm watching the game I'll work on this, a tune I'd forgotten about:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7muHNKd4YLM

The song itself is easy and I'll use a vocal harmonizer for the chorus. But what does one guy with an acoustic do about that break?

I'm gonna find out.

It's like the Peanuts strip where Schroeder is playing pages of impossible Beethoven. Lucy listens, listens and asks, "How do you manage that with no (real) black keys?" Schroeder answers, "I practice alot!"

THe guitarist looks like Murdoc from the A-Team. Hope that observation helps you out.

That's John Hall, and he's a congressman now. Had I been his opponent, I definitely would have used some stills from that video in the campaign.

I saw John Hall with Orleans in 1977. It was a really fun show. He was on the No Nukes album too, where he was little out of his league.

Sounds to me like a good bar band doing a Little River/Pablo Cruise cover w/a Paul Shaffer look-a-like on keys and when beer was $2.00 a pitcher.
You know the kind of band you wish you were good enoung to play w/then and now.
