"I don't know about 100 times. Sales data for 2008 was less than 10 times (88.3% WIN, 10.2% MAC OS, 0.5% others)."

Wasn't referring to sales data in my comment, just "in the wild". There are still PC's in operation from 10 years ago when MAC sales were 3% marketshare on a good day.

But again that has nothing to do with it either. If it's the right tool it's the right tool. If it's not, it's not.

By the way... If anyone needs MAC stuff, much like lostartvintage.com is the only place to buy Ovation gear (my opinion), check out http://www.smalldog.com/ . Tell him Miles or Desdinova sent you if you call him. He will treat you right.

Jeff, short term, until I gain more knowledge on the Mac and it's apps, that's my reason: you may very well be correct...I'll find out soon enough.

My main reason for the Mac is to get a quality DAW up and running; something I tried and failed w/the PC...and here's a news flash: the idea did not come from this board...however I did think some here might benifit from my learning curve...

I appreciate the help I've received...I've tried to give some back since I've been here...But for now, I'm back on my own...I can handle that...I have for nearly 57 years. My family is the real deal...

I really couldn't care less if someone's entertained or not...didn't think that was a necessity...

Life is tough enough...

Bummer... Lots of options out there.

EchoAudio has come a long way with devices, now available for MAC and PC from 2 channel to 12 channel. Just plug'em in, and fire up your favorite recording software.
