No wonder the guy sold it :eek: the strings at the 12th must be 3/8th" off the slightly warped neck making it a 'shed' to try to play.
My fingers are not long enough, nowhere near strong enough to bridge the gap twixt strings and neck. This 'thing' should have a health warning attached.
What a challenge, and I accept. I will make the neck straight, and drop the bridge and then do the nut. A set of Elixer 10 - 47's and see if it improves or else it's in the bin lorry never mind on the wall.
On a serious note for a mid-depth bowl, the damn thing is nowhere near as loud as the SSB 1986c. It has the original strings on it and the 1986 has super-duper-tickety-boo lights on (8 - 38's) |
