(And, once again, a situation comes up that directly involves neither of them but Miles and Al should really sleep well tonight knowing what type of monster they've created here. And, to let them enjoy it, I call for the community at large not to ask Al about an '09 Factory Tour for, oh, at least a day or two! ;) )

The lady I got my 1687-9 from was also selling because she was in dire straits. After I arrived to look at the guitar we talked a while and it became painfully apparent how much she loved this guitar. She also revealed that selling it was against her kids' wishes. At this point I'm thinking this really might not be the right thing for her to do and told her so. Told her I was quite prepared to leave without the guitar and without regrets. She should not do this if she wasn't sure. But she had made up her mind. She needed the money more than the guitar and it really helped her to know that it could go to someone who would cherish it as she did. It was breaking her heart to sell it and it was breaking mine to buy it but in the end it worked out for both of us. She was genuinely grateful that I was there. I was grateful, too. Absolutely gorgeous guitar there, Charlie. And WELL DONE, Dave! Otto .

We have a world-wide support group, so we help each other avoid costly private therapy sessions. Then we further help each other spend the money (and more) that we saved on psychiatrists by finding guitars for each other… …and since there's no better therapy than playing guitars… …it's a win-win situation!
