Several of ya'll have indicated that you'd like attend this informal gathering. I need a near-definitive head count (including 'guests') in order to arrange a comfortable venue. I'll be using e-mail for communications to minimize traffic here. So LMK via 2ifbyC@tampabay.rr.com. Thanx and hope to see ya soon...

Joined: November 2006 Posts: 3969 | I want to extend a great big Thank You to iffy & his SWMBO for putting up with us yesterday. It was a great time. As always, it was a pleasure meeting OFCers for the first time (weaser, GNATL & darkbarguitar) and of course getting together with old friends. I have yet to meet an OFC member that didn't instantly become a friend. The talent level on this board never ceases to amaze me - darkbarguitar especially. Otto, I think you have some serious competition for the "Best Voice" title, and he plays a mean guitar, too (played circles around all of us, I'll post some video later). The only downside of the day was when I had to tackle Trader Jim as he was leaving and wrestle my 1538 out of his hands. Fortunately, I'm bigger than he is ;) Again, thanks to Johnny & Patty, and if anybody here has an opportunity to get together with other OFCers, don't miss it. If fact, do everything you can to make it happen.

(G8r's description of me is a gross exageration), but if anyone out there wants lessons on Clapton unplugged, give g8r a call....he has him down pat. And iffy and trader are the real deal. If you meet no one else from the forum, meet them. Fun stories and great guys. Hey! I'm no longer a OFC virgin...I've been to my first gathering and survived!
