I had not heard of TB guitars before so I found this interesting and I suspect that there are some here who are TB fans. It would be interesting to know if there was any collaboration between Ovation and Bean. http://www.missoulanews.com/index.cfm?do=article.details&id=431845B...

How the f*** did that name ever get past the local school board and the public? We have a Newgate and a Southgate, but a Hellgate? Maybe that's where they send the problem children?

When what models were produced, serial numbers of each of the series, and a best guestimate of total production. Don't you just love it when these guys talk about the "collectables" are worth "THOUSANDS" of dollars? I bought most of mine for $200-500 and sold them for $1250-2000. I haven't looked lately but I'd guess they are still in the same range, maybe 2-3. Maybe a the wedges are 5ish. There were two double necks and 5 or 6, 5 strings. Those might be the big bucks but I wouldn't think 5 figures. But hey, what do I know being stuck at a gas station for so long?

The tribes traveling east to the plains to hunt buffalo had to pass through a narrow canyon that was the perfect and popular spot for ambushes by enemies - hence the name. And Montanans have never been particularly politically correct ...
