Bought this book last summer for half of the price. It went soon out of stock. Today I was just checking this web site and the "book" is again available for those who have not yet a copy.

It's an interesting story and sheds much light on the Ovation lineage!

These have been out of print for years. A vendor might come across a used copy - or forgotten NOS - every now & then and offer it for sale, but once that copy's gone they can't exactly order more.

A shop in Melbourne had copies and could get more when I was there in December. If anyone is after one please let me know and I will see how many they have and can assist purchasing and shipping. I think they cost AU$39.95 but can confirm.

Cheers

Chris

Randy, we both sent out traveling copies more than a year ago.

Anyone know where they are now?

Bob,

That book is either the second or third generation shipped. I believe the guys are talking about the first two or three that went out.

I had a travelling copy that I sent to Ozwatto.

I'm not sure if it is still with him or not.

I'd be nice if the book made it down to Amelia.

Agreed - I've sent a couple out, but don't think I've ever signed one.

I was going to hold on to it for Amelia, but didn't want to 'hog' it that long.

Maybe Bob can send it to an Amelia participant. In fact, when he's finished he could send it back to me. Then I could pass it on at the gathering.

There's a new copy going to AussieJames that so far was signed by the G8rBowl participants that I'll be bringing to Amelia for the hand-off (along with his Balladeer). Hopefully everyone else at Amelia can sign it, too (the Book, not the guitar ;) ).

I'll be seeing Bob tomorrow. If he's ready to pass it on, I could bring it to Amelia.

Didn't we all sign a traveling copy at the 2008 PNW gathering?

We may have, but my memory of that gathering is a bit fuzzy, except I distinctly recall filhixx walking through the screen door.
