I'd like to hear from those that live or have lived near Mobile, AL. I've got a pretty good shot at a job there and would have to re-locate.

What should I be aware of when making this decision? Cost of living? What have the prices of homes done in the last year or so? Traffic?

I've done the internet searches. I'd like to hear from those there on the ground.

Drop me a PM or give me a call.

Brad

Good timing, being as Mobile's Mardis Gras celebration is actually older than New Orleans'.

I've been to Mardi Gras there and got food poisoning there... those are my Mobile highlights!

I also had some pretty good BBQ there.

Brad,

Hate to see you might leave Tennessee but the job market is not all it could be.

You haven't quite lived until you have a layover at the Mobile Greyhound station between 2 and 4AM...

Oh man.....great food in Mobile!!! There are bars to play in or watch music. Yeah, hurricanes can be a bitch, but a pretty cool place. And not far from the French Quarter....wow!
