I swear, I send him a link and he never looks!

Actually... I botched the neck, tried to rework it and ended up getting a Mahogany neck with Gibson headstock and and Block inlays.

No Sou... er, guitar, two weeks!

Body was a Preacher, Maple Top, Phat Cat pups, Tun-o-matic, blah-blah-blah!

I hope it will be worth the wait. If it isn't I'll just have to keep it...

Yeah, sure...that sounds about right.

So is that the old neck in the picture? It looks pretty fabulous from the front.

Wow, You'd hardly guess from the before and after photos that those are the same necks.

Nice Mike...so are you going to round off the top of that like I did the other one, or just leave it "gibson" style?

Personally I like the Gibson headstock. It'll go with the Gibson Tuner pegs, Block inlays and LP Styling.

Mr. Belt Sander can do whatever is needed.

wow that looks really cool the way strings go down into the body like that behind the bridge or whatever. What kind of guitar is that?

It's a Mahogany Preacher Body with a Maple Drop Top and Gibson-esque Neck.

Seymour Duncan Phat Cats lovingly plumbed into Stewmac 500K Pots and .047mf caps.

A nearly matching figured Maple plate adorns the Headstock, accenting the overall ambience' of the Gold Hardware.

It has a startling bouquet with a reverberant nose... touching lightly on incoherant.

Oh, yeah... I started this Project for Andrew November of 2007.

Woody - I have a question for you:

What is the purpose (if any) of the string holes being at an angle? Is it just for looks? The bridge is basically the "terminus" for the strings, so everything after that is just for show, no?

By the way.... GREAT job!

I'm sure that there is a mathamatical equation related to a significant Theory on angle, break and juncture...

I just poked some holes in the available space and thought it was cool.
