(I think you can guess where this one's going traitor, I mean Trader.)
While I'm at it, what's the difference between a Josh White and a Folklore? Both are slotheads, both have 1 7/8" nut and both are 12 fretters. |

Therefore... If the Josh White is the same, No. I don't believe it is removable. |

Location: Germany | Neither the original JW nor the reissue JW have removable necks but wooden neck blocks. Thus performing a neck reset on this guitars is not easy.

The shipping is cheaper if you can remove the neck!!

You're reading me loud and clear, AJ. |

Location: Germany | There's a quite simple rule with the early Ovations (including the Folklore). If it has a truss rod the neck is not removable. If it hasn't a truss rod it's equipped with the Kaman Bar and the neck is removable. I think the Folklore never had a K-Bar before it disappeared in the early eighties but I'm not 100% sure.

Location: Boise, Idaho | He's asking about the re-issue. My K1111 RI has a truss rod, or at least a truss rod cover, so I doubt the neck is removable. Assuming the Josh RI is true to it's roots, it would also have a truss rod and wouldn't be removeable, if Karl's simple rule is 100% correct. |
