Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | The 1758 plugs-in and looks purdy...
But there still is something to be said for being an Original.
[I've got a 2058T with Contour Bowl and OP-Pro with a TUNA! But my Pacemaker is still unique.] |

| Totally different animals - 12-fret vs. 14-fret, different bracing, roundhole vs. epaulets. Either would be one of the finest 12-string guitars ever built. Given the choice, tho, and everything else in terms of overall condition being equal and similar price, I'd go for the K115 just for the historical aspect. |

Location: SoCal | What are you going to use it for and how are you going to play it? The 1115 may be cooler, the 1758 more practical. |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | I own both, plus an original Balladeer 12 and a Pacemaker 1615...The 1758 and the 1615 are my favorites both of which have a long history with me...if you need to plug in, then either of them will do nicely...if going acoustic, then what ever suites your ear will do fine...currently, the 1115-1 needs some refurbishing at the mothership and is for sale...CHEAP...
If I had to make a choice, I'd go for the 1758 everyday of the week and twice on Sunday! ymmv |
