Red Brand Copper Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings

"Red Brand Copper Bronze Strings. The first brand of Copper Bronze acoustic guitar strings in the world. With the highest copper content of any acoustic guitar strings - more than 80/20 strings, more than phosphor bronze strings - Red String provide precise articulation, a louder sound, greater projection and a warmer, richer tone from the moment you tune 'em up. There hasn't been a significant new material introduced for acoustic guitar strings in 35 years until now!"

Not sure what would be so great about higher copper content, unless all you care about is the first couple hours. Sounds like marketing spoo to me.

beware of cheap strings. I bought some no name generic electric from GC and they are the most horrible things I ever used in my life. I will probably throw the rest of them out

No, but I did try the Black Diamond "Blacks" about 2 years ago and really liked their tone. Plus, they looked great on my '99 against the red top. Got a set from Black Diamond right here in Sarasota. Haven't seen them since.

Apparently they're made right in Sarasota, Bob. Check out their site . And you can buy them online if really want them. I don't see a dealer in Sarasota.

I've got some for you, 6 from one guitar, and 5 from another. Figured I'd wait until I had 4 bundles.

I usually use GHS boomers (10's) on the Viper. They're pretty cheap, but I like them.

You have to: Compare at $15.99 !!!

There hasn't been a signficant new material introduced for acoustic guitar strings in 35 years until now!
Have Elixers been around that long?

Bob,
I tried the Blank Diamond Acoustic strings about 4-5 years ago. B.D. sent me a free set to try w/ a B.D. T-shirt. They did look very cool against my woodbox's natural top with the black buttons and black bridge pins I had on the guitar.
But I found after a day or 2 they got real "dull" sounding and the felt very stiff with the heavy coating they use.
