The only way to improve mileage is to take a bus or a bicycle . . . Cornering clearance isn't good, but it is better that it looks.

Hope the amp's insured. Hate to see ya tangle with a Semi and end up with a "Fender Bender" :)

Brad do you have a cover for that amp to protect it from bug splatter and rocks/pebbles?

Phil, the amp cost me $24 used, so an amp cover would cost more than the amp, and bugs (such as they are in Colorado this time of year) at 40 mph pretty much just bounce off me since I'm in front of the amp. On a general note, bugs at altitude aren't anything like those flying egg yolks you flatlanders have back east, especially during the summer. We made the 16 mile round trip without issue.

At first glance I thought the title was "Going Gigging at over 100 mpH", not mpg. Your rig looks a bit to draggy to make it to 100 mph.

Something just screams that your opening number must be "Feeling Groovy". But you know, if you took the Ovations out of the cases, they could serve as pontoons and you would have a cool AmphiBike.

That's great.

Reminds me of Asia.... family of four with groceries... all on one scooter....

(Probably shouldn't put a "My child is an Honor Student" bumper sticker on it)

They weren't kidding. I really do meet the nicest people riding around on this thing. Anybody remember the Hondells hit from 1964 (given to them by Brian Wilson)? Anybody remember who played on the recording of that hit?

At first I was looking for training wheels on the bottom of those cases.
Then I started thinking how cool it would be to take one of those cases & make a sidecar out of it. :D

Sweet, Brad. But it isn't complete without a picture of YOU on the bike. I wanted to see how much foot you can get on those pegs.

I sure wish I could do that, but at the present time I'd end up frozen and in a snow drift.

Minus 3 degrees this morning.

There isn't any exhaust covers that will get hot enough to melt one of those cases is there?
Other than that this has to be the coolest "Gig Rig" I have ever seen. Has global warming started in your fernt yerd? You are in Co the mountains right?

If it weren't for the fact that my parents were living here, I would have retired there from the Marines in "97. I lived in Aurora 85-88 (While on instructor duty at Lowry AFB)and loved every minute of it. Aside from the hollywood types trying to take over, it is in my opinion one of the best places in the US. You are a very lucky man!
