Since I can't get outside to take any pic's, I took these of my two 1687's: the '81 -7 and the '78 -8...
Both are off to the Mothership for a few weeks...the '81 has an intermitent top buzz and the '78 gets the electronic's checked out and a couple other things...can hardly wait!!!
I miss 'em already and they're not leaving till tomorrow,,,sniff....

BTW, I posted pic's of the case candy and strap on the other thread from the weekend...

Dave and Jerome, you are both so right about the sound of the "old Lady": she sings! (the '81 is no slouch either...)

Here's some more GAS/GP for those that crave that sort of thing:

Enjoy!

I have to ask whats going on in the cabinet behind the guitars? I was blinded by 3 of my favorite finishes and I had to look away and what did I see: a cat with a chef hat, a gremlin and a baby doll? Beautiful guitars by the way.

Not a cat: A Turkey that dances and sings the "Chicken Song" (we had to hide it from my 2 year old son so it would last and not drive me crazy every time it plays)...

Not a gremlin: a cool Christmas ornament: Linus on stage reciting "That's what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown" (w/working lights and PA)...

Not a baby doll: small porcelin figures of a Marine and Russian girl: which represent myself and SWMBO...

Also candles and assorted glass figures...since someone is bound to ask. Oh yeah and the DVD is the new Casting Crowns Live...whew...

Get a red blanket, Mike. You won't have to answer so many questions.

I go back to the clinic on Tuesday...I have good days and bad days Johnny...I certainly would not wish this on anyone...gives me a whole new respect for those who suffer...At least I can still function for the most part...I appreciate your asking...
