If Ovation, or Martin or whoever wants to give me the shirt or hat, sure I'll wear it. But to make me buy it? Good for them if they can get away with it. And they do, they surely do. So do restaurants, trendy bars, bands - the list is endless. So, I'm taking orders for 'Losov' t-shirts. regularly $29.99, but for OFCers - 15 bucks (plus S&H)

As in the devil made him ask that question!  ;) Oh, I buy T-shirts like that because I hate plain T's or ones with a ton of Graphics. Plus I'm old, forgetful and it helps me remember what guitar I'm playing! :D

In fact, I'll buy a bunch of 'em, and try to sell 'em, and I don't even care if I take a Loss off Losov T-Shirts! And, if they're soft, I'll sell'em up high...and I'll sell em down low -- you guessed it: as low soft Losov T-shirts... I wann'em! Ummmmmmmmmmmmm ... Ok?

I wear a lot of t-shirts and long-sleeve denim shirts, so these types of shirts are appealing. Kaman's coupon discounted sales price for a long-sleeve black denim shirt is $27.60. T-shirts are less than $10. These are competitive prices for these types of shirts even from the local discount houses. If the shirts are well-made, then the value is even geater. The logo is also a plus since it represents a product I support. Based on my experience in wholesale purchasing of t-shirts with a double-imprinted multi-colored silk-screened custom logo, Kaman can't be making much more than a buck or two per t-shirt at these discounted prices just for the shirt, excluding storage and handling. Based on this information, it might not be a bad deal for the consumer. Of course, this is all premised on two things . . . I regularly wear these kinds of shirts, and I like the logo. We all have a closet or drawer full of shirts given to us over the years that we only wear if we're painting, changing oil in the car, or digging post holes. No sense looking at something you'll never use, regardless of the discount.

They want a souvenier of the Black Hills, and mine are the only ones that have guitars instead of motorcycles. :) Some of the locals have bought them, and when we had the fire a year and 1/2 ago, a lot of people had to evacuate with just the shirts (or pajamas in some cases) on their backs. I gave free t-shirts to evacuees. At least they could change out of their stinky, smokey shirts. But I do have some good friends who won't buy shirts for the same reason Losov won't. I don't mind a bit. Their beliefs are fine with me, although I must say they have no fashion sense. :) :)

Or give them away at stores if someone buys an Ovation. It's sad they want to make a buck, when in the long run, it'll build good will. They may not know anything about good will, however, since they haven't scheduled a tour. I'd like to see them prove me wrong.

Any idiot can sport a Fender t-shirt (and many do) but I think I'd actually like to have a 'ProfessorBB' t-shirt with a '2ifbyC' hat. Maybe an 'an4340' hoodie for cool evenings at the beach. Perhaps an official 'Grif' beer cozy? Those items would mean something. Maybe members who attend gatherings might be of a mind to produce things of that nature to trade?
