Hi everyone, with all the talk about FD14's over the past few days, I got the itch to pull my recently purchased FD14 out and pluck the strings. I keep it detuned in the case, so as I was bringing it up to standard tuning, I hear this sickening "ripping" sound. Sure enough, the bridge is ripping away from the top.

I've contacted the factory to get a return authorization # to get the repair process underway. But I was wondering if anyone on the board has stayed in touch with its original owner, Mark1960, I have a few questions about it's early history that only he can answer.

Thanks.
