Random quote: “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” -Plato

I heard something on the news today that YouTube was blocking all music videos to Japan due to some problem with 'licensing"...
During the news-piece they said that Google was still trying to 'make money' off of YouTube. :p
Translation-- "Make Lots of Money"
Apparently the previous owners were doing just fine making a little money, then Google bought YT.
Kinda like how the new owners of evilBay aren't satisfied with the old program.

Here\'s a little write-up about YT and songwriters arguing about Money

Anyone wanna comment? Anybody really care? :D

Wow, that sucks. Tomorrow the UK, the day after--the world. I admit that I rely heavily on YouTube for trouble free exploration and listening/viewing. I hear the clatter of copyright police boots. The good thing about the internet is that you really can't suppress anything forever. Like Lenny (Bruce) used to say; "Suppression of the Word gives it power"

They are in disagreement with PRS in the UK. PRS collects public performance/broadcast royalties on behalf of copyright owners and they want more than youtube are prepared to pay.
