Location: Michigan | tony levin seems to show up playing with more bands than anyone i have ever heard of.he is a musical genuis and he plays some of the most intresting basses ( chapman stick )i have ever seen.he seems to push the envelope on everything he does and it sounds and looks good on all of it.i love those guitar funk fingers that he uses for a bass guitar pick and the chapman stick he uses with king crimson.
one great musician who seems to always stay in the back drop of a band and never seems to of became famous for how great he really plays.
heres a few posts with him in it.GWB

| Always loved his rock solid approach to the Bass position, He is one of those guy's who brings class to any project. His work with Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe, Peter Gabriel and King Crimson alone, put him in an elite class of musician. He never over does things. Our Bass player is having fun with Frame By Frame, Sledgehammer and Big Time now. We are considering trying Elephant talk without the "Stick" using the Bass the second guitar..me......and the keys to round out the sound with the lead guitar. experimental stages now.
Anyone got a 'Stick" and another guitar. either electric or acoustic, I need both to trade for the Baritone let me know please. |
