After viewing the vids, I'd LOVE to see 'Tubular Bells' done in this format!!!

I guess I've got to get the DVDs. The G-babies would be soooo into 'em!

Thanx for a new experience!

Which DVDs would ya recommend?

Mike, the thread was about ugly guitars. That model guitar is ugly looking. Nothing to do with playability. It's an Ovation. Of course it will sound great and be ultra playable.

But its ugly.

So are all the Adamii with broccoli stuck on the headstock, FWIW.

If I may digress from this thread's real topic one last time to answer Iffy's question...

There are only two DVDs available. Both are great. The vids on #2 are in both widescreen and 4:3 aspect ratios, so more bang for your buck if you have a widescreen TV.

Number 2 includes "Cathedral Pictures" which is an adaptation of the "Gates of Kiev" finale from Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition". That may be the nearest thing they've done to "Tubular Bells" and ELP fans should recognize it.
