I've seen him perform countless times, I actually worked with him once (a long, but not very interesting, story) so I had the opportunity to chat with him quite a bit. He is extremely talented, yet humble and a very warm, friendly and likable guy. IMHO, he is one of our most under-appreciated "national treasures…"

IMHO, he is one of our most under-appreciated "national treasures…" About two years ago, the local PBS station had John in the studio. The host was making a big deal about John being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. John simply said, "Yea, it's nice, but there are other things in life". He seemed so humble about the whole thing. Michelle
