Hi,

Wonder if any fellow OFC member has bought from MusicPower.com before? Are they good & reliable? I'm considering a RI they're offering..

Thanks, Andy

Call Al Pepiak here is his site:

http://www.lostartvintage.com/

I don't think you'll get a better deal anywhere else when it comes to a new Ovation or Adamas guitar.

and He is one of the co-founders, and moderators of this forum.

aka.... Mr. Big.

I understand Mr. Big doesn't have any of those 30th Anniversary Reissue left.

MusicPower (GuitarTrader) has been a strong support for the Matt Smith Chop Shops and the OFC.

I have supported Al with my guitar purchases and he is the 1st "go to".

However, as to seller credibility, I would support the guys, local to San Diego. I have used them for strings and accessories, even a small Marshall amps a few years. A couple of years ago, Fred and I went to a Chop Shop early...Fred brought his Custom Elite and an Adamas I had on loan, I brought the 47RI and the 1687 Adamas reissue...with Matt, we had a great jam session in the back of the store for over an hour BEFORE the Chop Shop (our Kaman Rep provided the great Mexican food). I have spent time with the owners, even walking them through the OFC website.

During my search for the LAST US made Ovation Elite T's, Music Power had Many listed...
And NONE in there possession.
Plus they made me wait two weeks before they told me that they did Not really have the 2058T.
After I actually discovered My 2058T from Guitar Center online (their last one, thank you) MusicPower continued to list their 2058T for Weeks after all the USA T's were long gone.
They are 'Drop Shippers'... So I would first make sure that they actually have the guitar you want in their possession. YMMV
