Although I won't be buying on this trip, I want to know which questions are the best to ask regarding Ovations. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated! Michelle

A working guitar cable wouldn't hurt too. You can leave it in the car if you don't need it, but when Gary and I went to buy his 1597, we wouldn't have known if it worked unless I'd brought along cables. Try them with a good acoustic amp. If you talk price, know that all US Ovations include a case. FlySig's daughter had to set a seller straight on that one. Good luck!

I have found several dead ones, but never asked for a new battery. Sounds like you're going multiple places. It can't hurt to be prepared.

That was the place that had one Applause and the rest were Celebrities. The salesman had also told me that at one time they had a wall full of Celebrities with cracked tops. Michelle

On the flip side, Hossman just picked up a great deal from them so you can get lucky too. Our local GC usually has some LX's on the wall as well as the typical Celeb's. It'd be great to find some CL's or something on that level but not here and we've beat that horse too many time to get into it again.
