Year-before-last I went and saw Savoy Brown (and others) and a woman with me commented unhappily about the cans of food, so I gave her two of mine. I commented where are you gonna see Anybody for that price. I'll be going this year. [I brought a bag of stuff, not just two cans. Ravioli and tuna and stuff you could eat raw! Stuff that the foodbank could give to people on the street without a stove, y'know?]

He was touring with John Hiatt not too long ago and I wanted to catch that one too but missed it. Great writer and performer.

His voice was shot then and it's worse now from what I see on Youtube. Also, his band of 35 years seemed like they'd been on autopilot for the last 25 years. Despite all that, he has written songs that I've been in love with for almost 40 years. One of these days he won't be around (he's 70), so I can travel 35 minutes to a 1,500 seat 150 year old venue to catch him one more time. John <>{

I especially love the guitar work on "Carefree Highway" and "Sundown". Michelle

However, one of the acts I would actually exert myself to try and catch is Little Big Town. But only if it's an outdoor venue on a nice day and I can buy a beer and walk around while listening. I ain't sittin' planted in a chair for two hours to hear anyone.
