Compared to you guys, I'm "normal". You've had excessive sales. I've only sold a couple in the last few years, and need to sell the Hamer so that everything else fits in my signature line.

You folks are nuts, but who am I to comment? I recognize one of those models, Andrew.

I have a list, too. Stuff gets added, nothing is ever removed. I think I've hit the limit on amps, but I gotta quit going after neon lights.

Phil, one for sure, possibly two, but getting them down the stairs and around a 90 degree corner would be a bitch.

Sorry, don't have that one anymore. In fact, I've had to slim down a lot. Check out the sig line.

Andrew, I notice you don't have an S771 on your list........

Before January of 2008, I too only owned one guitar.....actually 2, but my parents used the first one as a trade for my 69 Guild....which I still have.

For those with lots of guitars, I always want to ask: Where the heck do you keep them all; and How long does it take to find a particular one you want to play (or do you just open a case randomly?).

Yes you are sick, but I'm jealous, 'cause I can't afford to do what you've done.

Richard, the most I've ever had at one time was 14, and that '08 Collectors you have would have bought most of what I had at the time by itself...

I'm down to quality over quantity now, though my short list keeps getting longer and more expensive.

This is the place where the loonies run the asylum. I don't think you qualify as a Fan(atic) if you only want one.
Richard, I appreciate the sarcasm, but seriously, I have them all hanging on the wall and I like to grab one based on the urge of the moment. Sometimes that's 6 per night, sometimes I play one until I can't play anymore.
The only one that just hangs there is the 12 string, but I make an effort to play it occasionally. I had one that I liked to look at, but rarely played, so I sold it and replaced it with one that isn't as pretty, but I enjoy playing much more. The electrics don't get used as much as they should, but the acoustics are all played for my regular enjoyment. Obsessive or excessive, probably, but I consider myself blessed, not cursed.

It's all relative. SWMBO would chuck a fit if I filled the house up with guitars, but my 08C cost a small fraction of the price of her piano, so guilt strings work well. I'd like more, but I need to be patient and choose the right target at the right time.
