Random quote: “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” -Plato |
Okay, so is this excessive?

Stuff gets added, nothing is ever removed. I think I've hit the limit on amps, but I gotta quit going after neon lights.

Yes you are sick, but I'm jealous, 'cause I can't afford to do what you've done.

I'm down to quality over quantity now, though my short list keeps getting longer and more expensive.

Richard, I appreciate the sarcasm, but seriously, I have them all hanging on the wall and I like to grab one based on the urge of the moment. Sometimes that's 6 per night, sometimes I play one until I can't play anymore. The only one that just hangs there is the 12 string, but I make an effort to play it occasionally. I had one that I liked to look at, but rarely played, so I sold it and replaced it with one that isn't as pretty, but I enjoy playing much more. The electrics don't get used as much as they should, but the acoustics are all played for my regular enjoyment. Obsessive or excessive, probably, but I consider myself blessed, not cursed.

SWMBO would chuck a fit if I filled the house up with guitars, but my 08C cost a small fraction of the price of her piano, so guilt strings work well. I'd like more, but I need to be patient and choose the right target at the right time.
