It doesn't deserve to be put in the for sale section because I would not allow any of my friends here to buy this or there may be a need for a group intervention! There is nothing right about this guitar/bass or whatever it is. http://cgi.ebay.com/OVATION-STAGG-HYBRID-AC-ELEC-BASS_W0QQitemZ180344758316QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item180344758316&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A 12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

Can you imagine the reaction when Josh took the podium for the worlds first introduction to the ovation plastic backed guitar in 1966. I am sure many in the audience were thinking "WTF is THAT ???"

Wow, that is… interesting? BTW: There appears to be an actual Ovation in the background of one of the photos…

I bought one of those new when they came out and paid well over $6,000. I'll never sell mine, even though they are so rare that I've had offers of more than three times what I paid for it… Someone better grab it fast!!! yours truly, taibrekrul ...

It sure ain't book-matched and you can see a mysterious line in the photo of the 'trapeze' tailpiece. I ain't sure about the darker stuff, but it is probably contact paper too. Or he is really good with wood around the sound-hole. Ya' gotta give him credit for ingenuity. [I made a guitar outta scrap-wood and rubber-bands when I was around five years-old :p ]
