Location: Chicago | Last Sunday, the band recorded live in the beautiful Stella Maris Church here on the North Shore. The "room" was SO live we had to turn of ALL reverb and effects. Just Adamas, Elite, and drums!! What is really cool is that at least 50% of the sound was coming from our boxes, not the Bose PA.
Check out our "Natural Reverb" CLICK ON "AUDIO" : The tunes in questions are the first TEN. |

Location: Chicago | Sorry about that: the "Wow" was not meant like "Wow, All EYZ on Dobro" but rather SOUND. The one problem that comes out is that the Ovations just POP out in the old stone church, but the drums are "woofy" and seem sort of distant. Not sure that anything could be done. We had a pro on the scene with a bunch of mics and a portable rig.... |

Very, very nice! That sound is amazing…
Nothing in any box could achieve that sound…
…it's perfect for your music.
I love what you guys are doing with GoF, great songs, great sound, great players…
…and pretty nice guitars, too… ;-)
Thanks, |

Location: Chicago | Thanks! Sometimes there's nothing better than the old "acoustic guitar in the bathroom" effect. Of course, Stella Maris ain't no bathroom!! Now we need to figure out how to get the drums to sound a bit LESS like Bonzo in the stairwell for "Levee"! |

Location: Chicago | One thing that makes me proud is that two Ovations can hold their own with a powerful drummer. Ovation is the original unplugged! Long before KISS sat on stools for MTV, there were the Ovation Originals: Glenn, McLaughlin, Cat, Coryell, Croce... |
