I think I might like to do that to one of my Deacon 12a.... can you email or give a call sometime to let me know what you did and what the risks are, if any, and if it can be changed back without a problem... and are all the parts needed easily accessible? Thanks, God bless! Michael Joseph Kramer 2o3.913.8493 cell text verizon

The original bridge bolts unscrew and the new ones screw right in...the ground wire is attached to the original height adjusting bolt and the new bridge just fits right in...mine came nearly spot on intonated and is a huge improvement over the original non adjustable bridge: additional adjustment is a snap...the original bolts and bridge are in a baggie in the case...not much to it...just make up your mind and go for it...it can always be changed back if someone wanted to...

What a killer guitar if I do say so myself...well worth the 30 year wait for sure... If anyone is thinking about this retrofit project I'd say, go fo it; you won't be sorry!

Did you ever see the Gretsch Jupiter Thunderbird "Billy Bo" WP(white penguin)? They made very limited numbers of them and I bought two of them at the time and put an all gold bigsby on one of them. Then Billy Gibbons found out that they were made so he had one made but the body "reversed" and then he put an all gold Bigsby arm on his! I was SO jealous! Hahahahahhaa! The collector in me now wants two more WP models, reversed, one with an all gold bigsby! hahahahaa! But I can't do this anymore... Unless I hit the lottery or get a sugar momma... it's sell and sell only time and that's that. I don't know why I rattled on about all this. I guess the bridge on MM's Deacon 12 got my juices going on it or something! hahahaha! Oh well... I may have to call guitaraholics anonymouse and get my sponsor over here again! LOL Thank ya... God bless! MJK

QUESTION: Those of us who have and use our Deacon 12s! What amplification do we use it thru and why? I use mine thru a few amps actually... Mainly a Crate Palamino 32 head and cab as well as the Crate Palamino 50 twin combo! I run both thru a GL Tripler quite often too... totally makes the whole experience as if a dream gig! hahahahaha! What about you? My friends? Thanks! MJK
