(Oh yeah, and they said that some of us don't have a life. What else IS there in life besides music and fishing?!!)
Music and SHOOTING!
Music and Drawing
Music and LOVIN' (:

Of course not necessarily in that order

I've come to realize that "fishing" and "catching fish" can be seperate things.

Way to go Johnny!

I've read somewhere that E C says the best thing he ever did for his guitar playing was go fishing.

I go fishing to relax and get outside in the fresh air, "catching" is not even an objective for me… that way it's a pleasant "bonus" when I do catch something, but not a requirement for a nice day fishing…

…much less stressful that way. (Children don't get that concept, though…)

Have to share this...

Neat thing happened this afternoon. Went down to the 'office' just in time to see Matt, 'bout 12 y.o., catch the keeper snook I released two weeks ago! He let me fillet it 'cause he never cleaned a fish that big. Awesome event...!

Matt is one of those kids that ya wish was your own. He rides his bike to the ramp several times a week to fish. We share our baits and have a great rapport.

Oh, how did I know it was the same snook, you may ask? I use circle hooks which normally winds up in a corner of a fish's mouth. The one I caught was hooked in the 'tongue', which is very RARE! Matt's keeper had a 'spot' in the same place...

BTW, it was his first keeper snook! After the high fives and a big hug, he took the time to give me his bait before he rushed home with his fillets.

Oh yeah, almost forget... the snook was an 1/8" longer...
