I've heard that the Idea Guitar doesn't have a great tone to it,BUT, you have proven once again it is not the Guitar so much as the Player. |

Nevertheless, I think the guitar doesn't sound that much acoustically but the whole idea project is focused on the preamp so no need of a real acoustic guitar builted around it...... :confused: |

Great ! As marenostrum so perfectly demonstrates in his video, it is pretty simple and effective to loop a part to play over/with. You just record the first part, go in an play it back and mark the "A" and "B" of the loop and play it with "repeat on." Since you can set the start and end points, you basically just trim the delay from when you push "record" to when you start playing and the corresponding delay afterwards that occurs when you stop playing and move your hand up to push the button to stop recording. It might be difficult to be dead-on accurate, but you can get pretty darn close for just practicing leads, etc. I did a few chord progressions to play leads over last night and the loop was right on tempo and basically inaudible. It works quite well. |
