Too many time I have read multiple sound-holes and epaulets referred to as "Adamas-style". I might add that all the OVATION Ovation Double-necks that I've seen have the 12 on the bottom. But I could be mistaken...

Davey Johnstone is a longtime Ovation artist, and has been seen with lots of different very nice O's. I imagine he would be playing things the factory got into his hands, which I doubt were Celebs.
