I've been playing this guitar recently. Amazing just how good a guitar it is. Acoustically, it's got a really good sound. Much more bass than you'd think out of a mid depth bowl, with crisp mids and highs. Comfortable as all get out with a strap.

And plugged in? The "redesigned for the reissues" stacked volume/tone preamp gives you plenty of power and a warm sound.

If they had been this good back in the 70's when I got my first Ovation, I'm not certain I ever would have gotten anything else.....
