Jim,

If you don't think you will have enough room to bring this guitar to the jam, you can tie it to the top of your car. Ovations are pretty rugged.

Heads up: I just finished talking with Brian Cravens @ Sweetwater. They will be receiving 10 within three to four weeks. Two are already spoken for.

So if anyone wants to 'jump' contact him at briam_cravens@sweetwater.com.

That's a great price for an EliteT, with or without the Koa overlay on the holes.

Why would you put a mattress under a car?

Jim,

These guys are right. Just send the guitar to me. I'll bring to the jam, if I can make it. If not I'll use it to sing a song to Dolly.

more coil springs gives it a softer ride?

I talked with Mark at Sweetwater today, and apparently, Ovation is only making these for Sweetwater, and only making 10 on the initial run. That may be it for this model, so better jump in now if you want one. He told me about a month for delivery.

Just a month?
That don't seem "unusually long" at all.
It is very nice.
I may be wrong but it looks like the koa may be inlaid.

Brad, I agree, it looks like the eppie is flush with the "undercoat" finish. Pez, 1 month. gglide, yes, I think Beggin has one on his UTE. dvd, I'm not partial to one over the other so I'll go with the one it comes with.

I'm with Patch. I actually bought an EliteT and it is the best sounding, nicest neck'ed guitar I've ever had. But I can't get used to the Terminator look of the damn thing. But the epaulet on this guitar makes it all of a sudden look really nice. Wonder if you CAN retrofit something like that?
