| I have a 12-string that I have been playing since about 1971 or 1972. I bought it used, but almost new, and am interested in knowing more about it, ie., when it was made, how many of this model were made, sale price when new, current approximate value, and so forth. It is a model 1115-4, and serial number B-655.
It is a great guitar, with easy action and still has a beautiful resonating sound. I look forward to learning more about it, and about Ovation guitars in general. Thanks! |

That sounds like a sweet ol' gal you have there, probably from the '68 to '69 time frame. There were literally thousands made, but yours may have some unique characteristics.
