I met David in Phoenix on the set of Cloud Dancer in 1979...gave him a ride to his hotel in my new Van...he was very encouraging and supportive to the duo I had at the time...I had no idea he was 77 when he died...I always liked his acting...

RIP David...

Sad got his life straightened out in th 90's after drinking 2 5ths of JD a day.
Thought his liver would have got him. Who would have thought naked and in a closet, with a rope around both of his necks.
Must not have had E/D, the jokes are already starting.

What a stupid way to die. In thailand he coulda rented a wife for a month and then died from a heart attack in the rack. Oh well, he did have a cool life.

In the typical Rupert Murdoch total lack of class manner, the NY Post had on its front page today "Hung-Fu."

Yes I too hated to hear of his death and what a way to go like Michael Hutchinson of INXS! Auto-erotic deaths are becoming more common place now days.

But I will always remember him as the Kung Fu legend!

"The X Files" Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose (1995)

Clyde Bruckman: You know, there are worse ways to go, but I can't think of a more undignified way than autoerotic asphyxiation.

Mulder: Why are you telling me that?

Clyde Bruckman: Look, forget I mentioned it. It's none of my business.
