:(

There was nothing like a K25 slide enlarged onto an 8x10 Cibachrome print.

That occurred to me as I was reading the article but I was thinking 11x14 or 16x20..lol Is ciba still available, I haven't used it since the 80s.

I guess all film will gradually disappear which is too bad because it's a unique craft process which I don't believe can duplicated using digital technology.

Don't know if Ciba is still out there. I used to do my own E6 processing of Ektachrome slides, even bought the film bulk and wound it myself onto reels. Then I did 8x10 Ciba prints and matted them. That was back before kids.

Every once in a while I'd shoot some K25 or K64. They said it was the most archival film out there, so I tried to do pics of the family once in a while on it.

My eldest daughter does some B&W processing. I don't think she's tried any color yet, but the secret is that color is easier.

That and B&W was my short lived developing endeavor due to chem costs. Had a buddy that bought a half frame 35mm camera and kept us very busy in the lab. Very rewarding hobby...
