I think a lot of us quit when we had kids, then got back on when they grew up. I quit for 30 years, then started again 4 years ago.

Location: Bradenton, FL | OK, so I've now spent a couple of days with my CC11 and really had a chance to go over her with a fine tooth comb, clean and condition the fret board and threw a set of Elixer Nanoweb Mediums (.13-.56) and played her for a good long time. One thing I noticed is that if I really strum hard, I'm better of using very thin picks as my heavier pics create a lot of buzz. It doesn't buzz at all if I play lightly with heavey picks. There are just some songs that I really dig into the guitar on (like Jack Johnson's upside down for example). I have smaller hands and the neck is thinner than my Ibanez AE18 which I really like!! However I would have to say that my Ibanez is still my number 1. I am happy with her though. I'd like to somehow have her be a little more twangy though. Kind of like the sound you get when you strum closer to the bridge. |
