Location: Worcester, MA		Hey everybody, new to the board!

I'm one of those people who scour Craigslist every day, even in times like these where money is tight. Well, yesterday I came across something that caught my eye - an Ovation for the paltry sum of $25. Yes, $25.

I Sent the seller an email and went to check it out today, and turns out that it's a 1982 Ultra 1311. Obviously a low-end model at the time, but for the price of 2 cds, I figured I couldn't go wrong. It's not in the best cosmetic condition; there are cracks in the lacquer and some of the binding was reglued at some point, but it plays well and sounds even better.

I've wanted an Ovation for years, and I'm psyched to finally pick one up. I split my time between electrics (Jackson / Carvin) and acoustics (I have a low-end Yamaha), and it certainly holds its own. So, I hope to be spending more time here and absorbing as much info as I can about the various models for when I decide to upgrade ;)

Welcome, and nice get! Ya sure can't go wrong for $25. And as far as upgrading? If we have anything to do with it it'll be sooner than you think ;) This group is the number one source of GAS in the world.

Location: Hot Springs, S.D.		Welcome! (And OMA, that was pretty close to the correct pronunciation. It's pretty funny hearing people pronounce it as "War-chess-ter", but the best one was a guy from the south I once knew who called it "Woooooo-ster".)
