I've considered the oppurtunity to rebuild the instrument with a deep bow and with a gloss neck, because I really hate the "natural" feel that was in fashion some years ago, I've seen that others on the board sent their guitar back to CT and I was curious to know the exact procedure. Thank you for any comment!

I don't understand what you mean by the warping of the top ... it's hard to tell from the pictures. I can say that mine has developed some "ribs" across the top that you can fell well polishing with a rag ... they are from the braces. That is a totally normal event. I personally love the natural neck ... much better than the gloss. But I do give mine a bit of oil, both from my hands as well as the occassional run with my fretboard rag. As far as replacing the bowl? Forget about it. Buy another guitar and sell that one. They have to replace the entire bowl and top ... and all they keep is the neck which you want to change anyway. The 6759 is a somewhat rare beast and will fetch reasonable money. I wouldn't waste the money on rebuilding it. Sell it and find a 1759 to buy. Just my two cents. P.S. The inlaid rosette is a real nice touch and also somewhat rare on custom legends, and goes great with the gloss black headstock. I can;t see myself ever changing or selling mine. Period.

But anyway if the other owners say it's normal, it's OK, I'm just becoming paranoid, I guess. She's one of the most prized guitars of my collection and I love her... ;)

I also oiled with the same product I use for the fingerboard, but I still don't like it, I don't want to change it, just refinish it with the gloss nitro they used for the headstock. Well, since it's unfinished, it's not a real refin... I have one just like that ... mine is from 2000. For the mid depth bowl, I mainly play it unplugged and I think that the guitar sound would improve a lot in volume, plus I find deep bowls more confortable, the guitar is too shallow for me. Honestly, if they kept the 6759 in production I'd sell this one and buy the new one, but they discontinued it, and there's just the new 6756 that honestly it's not the same thing, at all. And yes, I love the inlayed rosette and the abalne purfling, doesn't yours have it? I thought that all the modern custom legends switched to the inlayed rosette in the 2000s...
