P A system with Mixer and eventually effect pedals , does sound Surprisingly Good , and can be used for everything ..

Location: Utah | 30 watts should be more than enough for small venues, even less may be fine if it is very small like a coffee shop. The best sounding acoustic amp we tested was the Crate 60 Watt Gunnison model. It has the best natural acoustic sound we heard. The Roland AC60 was very good, with similar features, but a lot smaller and lighter weight.
There are a lot of good acoustic amplifiers, but some have a significantly better sound than others. The low wattage ones seem to suffer from small crappy speakers, unfortunately. |

Location: Battle Creek, MI | I have used several systems for acoustic amplification and have settled on the Fender acoustasonic ultralight stereo. Its way pricey, but you can sometimes find them used. Amazing tone and volume, and as the name says, very light |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | I've been using a Roland AC 60 for several years. Smalla nd light, it's powerful enough for small to mid-sized venues, and you can piggyback it through a PA when playing outdoors or with a band. |
