...plus, of course, Paco doing some pretty nice work on a non-Ovation.

Awesome video. I loved Di Meola in the 1980's but didn't get into Flamenco until 2006. And now I have a new appreciation of what a "guitar hero" is. Just a wooden box, nylon strings, and one's fingers... and incredibly virtuosic, passionate music is created.

Paco is the most relaxed guy in the trio - almost like a teacher deriving pleasure from watching the prowess of his students.

This said, the Ovations hang nicely in the blend of guitars. Thanks for posting.

You bet! I liked it too...I've always had an abiding affection for flamenco, if only for the sheer virtuosity of it. But, repeated listening brings out the gorgeous melodies. Simple, but complex at the same time. Along, of course, with the understanding that good flamenco players (like Paco) just set the guitar bar SO high, that I'd never jump it! Means a lifetime of fun in the striving!

So right about Paco. He always seems so serene!
