Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | I was looking all day for the delivery of the 2009 Tak LTD which was out for delivery since 8:30 this moirning...
I had to leave for church at 5:45 and at 6:17, FedEx delivered a carton from Dave...I got home about 8:30 and it was waiting for me...SWMBO had signed for it...
Here are my first impressions:
1. Case is simply awesome...much better than I expected...it's a 5 latch fortress...very nice...
2. Ok, I opened the case to reveal a georgous Tak Sunburst and Dave's impeccable packing...Dave had packed the Battery comp for shipping so I put it back in and took the guitar out of the case (I'll wait till tomorrow to try the Cool Tube...)
3. Eureka! This guitar has the most perfect tuner I have ever seen on a guitar and it works flawlessly: no plugging it in or up...very cool
4. Not a lot of playing time as yet but the guitar is flawless/mint/perfect...Thanks again Dave!
It plays like butter and sounds fantastic over the spectrum...way more bass than I expected: I like that...smooth and even across the board and I will play it Much more later...IActually I just played it since earlier tonight and my impressions are even better: this guitar is fabulous! What a beautiful tone and sound...(not necessissarly the same thing...
Overall it's fantastic: I love it...
Much more later including pic's...

Gee a tuner that works perfectly and you don't need to be plugged in to use it. What a concept ...
Looking forward to a full report and a sky-shot !!!
Thanks for smooth deal. |
