Maybe a strange question, since I never saw him playing an ovation, but I think his music is wonderful, especially the solos...

Hey, nobody answering you here, guess nobody does! I've got two of his older albums - Naked Child and Border Affair. Two great albums that i enjoy listening to once and a while.

Well, I went over to youtube and checked him out. Not my favorite style of music, but very good for what he does.

You may have heard some of his songs. Great songwriter. He wrote Ladies Love Outlaws for Waylon, If You Could Touch Her at All for Willie, and numerous others.

Also the Highwaymen had a minor hit with his "Silver Stallion"... Strange enough, Lee Clayton seems to have got more recognition in Norway and Germany...
